Adrift
An apparently deserted ship, manned by a skeleton crew of frigate birds, drifts over the Pacific Ocean close to Puerto Lopez, Ecuador. With two birds at the wheel, and a committee on lookout duty, they embark on their voyage without the navigational aid of charts or compass, trusting to the stars to guide their journey. Who knows where their destination lies? Are they truly aimless, or was that starboard turn deliberate? Are they really alone, or are they stowaways, hitching a ride to another port of call? Which way should they go on their nautical adventure? The perfect gift for a sailor, or a talking point for a kid's room, stimulating the imagination and providing a basis for some adventurous tall tales of travel and exploration!
The original photograph was post-processed using Topaz photoFXlab, with the aid of Adjust, Simplify, and Detail filters to achieve this Blueprint style silhouette effect.
